With all the darkness that lies in a heart, <br />A lighthearted message gets easily torn apart, <br />For awakening in this realization kills hope from the start, <br />I walk free from the regrets, <br />In past loves did I advance. <br />From scorned eyes did tears bleed, <br />And all of this a message to be sent in repeat. <br />Blades run along skin, <br />catching a nik upon wasted kin, <br />For pain defines pleasure, <br />And in blood do we find joy. <br />Is it sick to cast this number upon those we employ, <br />Comfort is a casualty upon which men do devise, <br />I smile at this pain, <br />The devilish look in my eyes. <br />Casting no thought, <br />I walk with bangles on my neck, <br />the chain swinging from the hands that kept. <br />They own my soul, <br />For a dime a day, <br />Never do I recieve this toll, <br />In which they do so pay. <br />Watch me as I bleed the excitement it shall reign, <br />For I play the part of victim to allure a new prey. <br />And as this battle rages onward, <br />A dancers fight is made. <br />For this victim that lies before, <br />Was merely a facade to make you seem strong, <br />Before you are forced to beg.<br /><br />Emera Knaake<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/heaven-will-know-not-by-emera/
