Dear God I’m writing you this <br />Letter <br /> <br />Cause I think I’m going to need <br />Little special guidance <br /> <br />On this morning I awaken <br /> <br />My intent is to watch what I say <br /> <br />Maybe it will keep peace are make <br />Someone happy <br /> <br />Sometimes your words cause more <br />Hurt than it should <br /> <br />My day is planned out to the letter <br />T. <br /> <br />I want to be able to gain serenity <br />In my neighbor heart <br /> <br />Love to those that feel unloved <br /> <br />Happiness to those that only <br />Feel sad <br /> <br />I would like to make a difference <br /> <br />To all the weary people’s <br /> <br />I want to feed and fill the empty <br />Stomachs <br /> <br />Of the people that has no food <br /> <br />All the crying children without <br /> <br />Anything to eat <br /> <br />Milk for the small babies and the <br />Children as well <br /> <br />If I could feed those empty stomach <br /> <br />I will feel more at peace <br /> <br />To make a difference in someone life <br />That truly need that helping hand <br /> <br />God I’m sending this letter out you <br />With love <br /> <br />Please grant the hungry people today <br />To get a healthy meal <br /> <br />I pray to you my God, in this letter I <br />Send to you <br /> <br />Just give me strength to wipe those <br />Babies tears <br /> <br />Feed and cure their little hurting <br />Stomachs <br /> <br />From lack of food and medical care <br /> <br />Well, Lord this is all for now but I <br />Will be getting back with you <br /> <br />For this world is filled with so much <br />Meanest and strife <br /> <br />Lord, we need all the help that you <br />Can give <br /> <br />Just to get thru this day..<br /><br />Carolyn Sears<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-letter-to-god-5/
