I wonder if cameras really can steal the souls <br />Of young people caught up in celebrity roles <br /> <br />So many pictures, so many times, <br />24/7, no reasons, no rhymes <br /> <br />Except they’re famous for being famous, not for their art – <br />Do they become soulless and devoid of their heart? <br /> <br />Being photographed always, world-center stage, <br />Perhaps camera-flashes transform to flashes of rage <br /> <br />That explode so volcanically – Who’s at the controls? <br />I wonder if all those pics really did steal their souls <br /> <br />No matter how brightly their shooting star shone <br />It seems that celebrities are very alone<br /><br />Rev.
