As I walk this deathly silent place <br /> <br />My nerves on edge I start to shake <br /> <br />The place where I did meet my doom <br /> <br />Amongst these lonely catacombs <br /> <br />The air is dry, it smell of dust <br /> <br />As I walk along in this eerie dusk <br /> <br />Bodies lie, my fear it looms <br /> <br />As I walk these scary catacombs <br /> <br />My ears can hear a muffled cry <br /> <br />Is it coming from deep inside <br /> <br />From one of these sealed and locked up tombs <br /> <br />It is cold among these catacombs <br /> <br />I walk alone for I am dead <br /> <br />This is the place I should lay my head <br /> <br />I don't belong, I met my doom <br /> <br />Amongst these lonely catacombs <br /> <br />I walk in spirit, there is no peace <br /> <br />My moaning cries will never cease <br /> <br />Till I am found, my presence will loom <br /> <br />Locked within these catacombs<br /><br />sue crocker<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/catacombs/
