People often pass through our lives, <br />And so many have come my way, <br />Some stay for a lifetime, <br />Others just for a day. <br /> <br />Yet others last just for a season, <br />And then they must move on, <br />The one that touched my heart, <br />Has now come and gone. <br /> <br />Though I knew you had to leave, <br />You could only stay a while, <br />I got to know your loving ways, <br />And ever-present smile. <br /> <br />Summertime girl I thank you, <br />For a summer filled with fun, <br />Nights so filled with passion, <br />Our days frolicking in the sun. <br /> <br />But will you ever think of me, <br />Now that we're apart? <br />Was I just another summer fling, <br />Or the one who stole your heart? <br /> <br />Though we've gone our separate ways, <br />And will each find someone new, <br />No matter what the future brings, <br />I'll always remember you. <br /> <br />09-07-10.<br /><br />Alan W.
