With just two pennies left, world to weather, <br />If I bought a loaf of bread with my one <br />Penny, and a lily with the other, <br />Protested a tender li’le green leaf there <br />That dared to ask, ‘Pray do a kind thought spare <br />For poor leaves, left with mere penny and none. <br /> <br />And why not?
