coming new to love <br />still I want to think about things you know <br />and so I look deep into my heart <br />and we must be candid and frank, you know; <br />and of course we’ll have all those things <br />like love, family, values and kids <br />but look - a man needs what he needs and so <br />that’s essential too, you know: <br />so maybe 3 times a day in the first years <br />and then depending on work and how often the kids are around <br />you know; <br />but really we have to manage at least once each day <br />and so like that in our twenties and thirties maybe <br />and then the kids go away in our forties <br />and so maybe we’ll revert to 3 or 2 each day again <br />for a while <br />depending on my ability and yours too <br />and then maybe only twice each day past in our sixties <br />till our last days certainly <br />and maybe just once when I say my final goodbye: <br />that’s my proposition <br />my beer-drinking plan for a whole life together... <br />would you find that acceptable, sweet love of my life?<br /><br />Raj Arumugam<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/first-love-song-for-the-sweet-love-of-my-life/
