If the Americans can have jails for profit, why can't we? <br />Is there some way we could get our politicians to agree? <br />Why do we call them correctional facilities instead of jails? <br />Is it our early release system, the good food or our easy bails? <br /> <br /> <br />They say that the US jails-for-profit are a lot cheaper than ours, <br />But such an idea might cause our politicians to cower, <br />Many Canadian US prisoners want to be transferred here, <br />There must be something much more to this than there appears. <br /> <br /> <br />And is this subject banned and shunned by our politicians? <br />Is it Trudeau’s Charter that caused these soft conditions? <br />Without referendums or recall there is nothing can be done, <br />Can’t have jails for profit and no questions please; so they won. <br /> <br />NOV 26TH,2013<br /><br />James Bredin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/jails-for-profit-nov-26th-2013/
