What are my goals? <br />You mean... <br />Like those 'things' I wish to accomplish? <br /> <br />'Yes. <br />You must have made some by now.' <br /> <br />Well... <br />The ones I made yesterday, <br />I've already met. <br />I did make some this afternoon. <br />But they've been achieved, <br />To allow me to rest. <br />And those I've made for tomorrow... <br />I am putting now to the test. <br /> <br />'Okay so your goals are... <br />Can you be more specific, <br />Than that? ' <br /> <br />I'm doing the best I can. <br />And 'if' I get too specific... <br />They've would have changed, <br />Before I can get the word 'completed'... <br />Out of my mouth. <br /> <br />I know this may be an inconvenience, <br />But... <br />Is it possible you could come back, <br />In a few weeks. <br />By then I should have a list, <br />Of my more recent goals accomplished for you. <br /> <br />It's too difficult for me to set goals. <br />I hate to discuss the process. <br />That's too time consuming. <br />I'd rather do and let it be. <br />You understand that don't you? <br />Of course you do. <br />I see it in your eyes!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
