Is there a cloud today <br />In the songs ahead, <br />Is there a darkish play <br />In the colorful bled; <br />What can I say or do <br />To take away a spell, <br />When away goes blue <br />Where shadows befell. <br /> <br />Is there mood in air <br />With shadings for fall, <br />When winter comes here <br />With its dullness call; <br />After autumns close <br />Of yellow and red. <br />The rustic of rose <br />In the garden's bed. <br /> <br />Where will I be then <br />When sunshine is gone, <br />Shall we meet again <br />With the summer swan; <br />In colors clear and new <br />Where longings awake, <br />In distances - whereunto <br />The melting snowflake.<br /><br />Peter S.
