In my heart where the love for you is kept, <br />I need not repeatedly visit. <br />What has been captured remains to stay. <br />Even to drift away momentarily to reminisce the 'ifs'... <br />I have already discovered to be pointless. <br />Since in my heart where the love for you is kept, <br />There is not an 'if' to wish together we did not do. <br />To experience! <br /> <br />You and I had borrowed so much time, <br />From those tomorrows... <br />They would never come to end what has been done. <br />In my heart where the love for you is kept to keep, . <br />I need not repeatedly visit. <br />When every beat of my existence is yours to 'be' as is! <br />I know it as I awaken to feel blessed to get another breath. <br />And everything about our love has a permanence that connects. <br /> <br />Leaving those known that I have loved to keep that love alive, <br />Staying with me and felt inside to never be replaced. <br />There is no way I could live without that to acknowledge, <br />As a fact! <br />You and I had borrowed so much time, <br />From those tomorrows... <br />They would never come to end what has been done, <br />To do over again with wishes to spend more time together. <br /> <br />My existence is yours to 'be' as is!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
