Uncontrolable laughing flows <br />Out of my lips every single night. <br />I don't know why but chances are <br />I have gone insane. <br />You know that you are the cause of this, <br />You just make me too happy. <br />Yesterday for the first time I actually <br />Thought 'Right now is so perfect...' <br />And then I started laughing, its true after all. <br />Its taken a while to get here... <br />And I have almost given up a few tiems. <br />But That little voice in my head told me <br />That I might as well do it, <br />Considering as to how I have nothing to lose. <br />Literally. <br /> <br />And I am so glad I listened, <br />And did not ignore it. <br />Because if I hadn't I would still be <br />Moping around saying how un-fair this is. <br />But thankfully that voice and yourself <br />Saved me from all of that. <br />Just the thought of this one moment <br />Made me laugh and slaughter the darkness, <br />With your help of course. <br />But hey, guess what? <br />If you are happy then my life has purpose. <br />Or that day does at least. <br /> <br />The other day a person actually <br />Stopped and put down what they were doing, <br />And stared at me because I was all alone... <br />A wide smile spread on my feautures, <br />And a silent laugh filling the air around me. <br />I hope I didn't scare them, <br />Oh well who cares right? <br />As long as you and I are happy people can laugh <br />Until their tragic death for all I care. <br />All I could do was <br />Go home, lay in my bed, <br />Laugh myself to sleep, <br />Then wake up and repeat the day before. <br /> <br />Written October 21st,2007<br /><br />Dani Miller<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-repeated-laughter/
