Nice people not known for to put others down <br />Or be racist to anyone black, white or brown <br />And others of their achievements they never try to impress <br />We need more of their type and of the not nice less. <br /> <br />For the top job in town they do never compete <br />Nice people are always a pleasure to meet <br />Behind a false ego they never do hide <br />With life's little blessings they are satisfied. <br /> <br />Not known to be judgemental in any way <br />And harsh things of others they never do say <br />Untouched by conceit and unburdened by greed <br />Far more of their type in the World we do need. <br /> <br />Of the greatness within them they are unaware <br />And sad to think their sort are becoming rare <br />The arrogant and conceited you meet everywhere <br />And millions of them in the big World out there.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nice-people-2/
