The clouds feel like they are softer than cotton candy in my hands
I just felt the desire to touch them since my head is already above them
Just imagine using a rainbow as a slip and slide
I don't need a pot of gold, I already got a stove filled
I don't wish upon a star, because I am one
Just look at me, no need for a telescope
The sun becomes the moon as it is blotted out by my shine
I think they call that an eclipse
In orbit, the whole world revolves around me
I'm standing still, watching it go by
This galaxy is not large enough for me
I think I feel claustrophobic
Please give me space, I can't breathe
What are those little creatures beneath me?
Are they ants? Oh no, they are just people
I'll try not to step on them, that might leave a mark
Wait, how did they get here? I thought this was my world
and I was the only one in it
I know that other people exist, of course, I'm just their role model
When I die, I will reincarnate into a better form of me
but I don't see how it could possibly get any better than this
God must have used all the good stuff on me and then ran out...
It must be a sin to look this good
For a moment there I thought I saw an angel…
Oh wait, that was just my reflection; Sometimes I forget how good I look
But I bet you would never forget… You only dream about being me
Sometimes I have nightmares though…
then I awake and realize that I'm not you

Philip St. Cyr

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/arrogant-the-thoughts-of-an-arrogant-person/
