If I look a certain way... <br />With my head up and not down to the ground. <br />They become offended. <br />Especially when I smile... <br />And there they are, <br />With evil looks and wearing frowns. <br /> <br />If I dress a certain way, <br />Because I feel good about myself everyday. <br />And I might not have gotten any sleep! <br />Or have eatened that day. <br />There they are... <br />Offended. <br /> <br />And 'if' I suggest I am at peace. <br />And have a happy mindset... <br />The eyes begin to roll. <br />They believe I live without any needs at all. <br />Because I don't wear my heart on my sleeve. <br />And I become victim, <br />Of a character assassination process. <br />Made to feel out of place, <br />Because I'm not crawling around pleading on knees. <br /> <br />'Just ignore 'those' people! <br />They just don't like who you are, period!
