If anyone can listen to what I'm about to say. <br />Please try to see and understand. <br />I'll tell you just how I got to be this way. <br /> <br />Wedged between to walls of isolation. <br />Fear hurt and lonely. <br />Tangled and strangled with weeds. <br />Weeds of fear weeds of helplessness and destruction. <br /> <br />I prayed so many times for someone to hear me to see me. <br />To see the mess I had become. <br />A friend a foe Jesus or one of the many who became an enemy. <br />I never had any one to talk to. <br />The second I trusted them. <br />the second they'd run <br /> <br />So in this hollow heart of mine. <br />I felt the weeds twisting and strangling me whole. <br />The weed of pain and guilt formed. <br />Dragging me futher to the ground. <br /> <br />Hatred entered my world. <br />Envy become a thing to know. <br />Envy of wish things weren't how they were. <br />Anger was my true friend. <br /> <br />To those I've hurt along the way. <br />Please forgive me. <br />Now that I am gone. <br />Please remember the old happy me.<br /><br />Amy Louise Kerswell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/all-alone-137/
