let go a balloon into an air <br />going beyond tree tops <br />and you predict what happens <br />your fear is there <br />the bursting, but that is not <br />what i really mean <br />the metaphor simply <br />misses an important <br />thing in our lives: <br /> <br />we let go because <br />there is nothing that we can do <br /> <br />because things are more beautiful <br />if they are what they are <br /> <br />because they tell us also <br />who we really are <br /> <br />burst if they will let them be <br />at least we know what <br />bursting is and how <br /> <br />beautiful is the sound at <br />the end of it all, <br />the lingering sound of <br />silence <br /> <br />is it not soothing and <br />smooth to our ears?<br /><br />RIC S.
