Peace, please come to me. <br />I am the earth, <br />the land and the sea. <br />I'm home to the animals <br />and the birds flying free. <br />I'm home to the fishes, insects <br />and butterflies you see. <br /> <br />I've tried so hard <br />to provide for all <br />but it's like my purpose has hit a wall <br />that's been built out of hatred, <br />greed and deceit <br />making it hard for my heart to beat. <br /> <br />I know I've been desecrated <br />many times before <br />by the bombs that are detonated <br />in times of war. <br />I've made my peace with you. <br />So, I plead for peace <br />to come to me. <br />I am the earth.
