I’m so lost in this world full of darkness <br />With my arms reluctantly outstretched wide <br />The only thing I find is emptiness <br />Isolated and left alone, no reason to try <br />The only thing left is to sit and cry. <br /> <br />Slowly inching forward, nothing in tune <br />Bumping into hardships and misfortune. <br />Stitching together tiny torn pieces of will <br />Life is nothing but a trek uphill <br /> <br />Dreaming about the happy moments in life <br />Is a fantasy just for my shivering mind to please <br />Happiness seems to be a corner in a circular room <br />As I plunge into the pool of misery and gloom. <br /> <br />Taken aback with the speed at which things move around <br />Life falls apart repeatedly without a sound <br />Pushing the rebels of mishaps and regrets out of the way <br />Nothing seems to work as the darkness is here to stay. <br /> <br />Will it stop or does it never seize? <br />Constantly ripped apart by the axe of the punisher <br />The body and soul lapsed in perpetual time <br />It needs nothing but a moment I find <br /> <br />With each swing of a pendulum and tick of the clock. <br />The world stays dark and there’s nowhere to flock <br />I stay here in the dark hoping for love, hoping for light. <br />Life moves on, and there’s only me in this fight. <br /> <br />I find a crack in the clock, a crack in time <br />A crack in my heart, cracks in my mind <br />Take me back to when it all started <br />So I can stop being broken hearted <br /> <br />If I'd really known before what I needed most of all <br />I would've stayed where my heart was with my soul <br />I do care for what once used to be mine <br />Got nothing right now, just blurred reflections <br /> ….Of broken time<br /><br />DEEP DARK SOUL POET<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/broken-time-3/
