When you help me to be strong, <br />People try and knock me down, <br />When you help me to be happy, <br />People turn it to a frown. <br /> <br />I feel I can't get things right, <br />I make mistakes, big mistakes, <br />God tells me I can get it right, <br />And everyone does make mistakes. <br /> <br />I'm stuck and all I hear are, <br />Voices in my head, <br />The words 'yes' and 'no', <br />Go round and round. <br /> <br />I shout HELP HELP, <br />And nobody hears, <br />Then all of a sudden, <br />I AM HERE! <br /> <br />I wonder where did that come from, <br />I look, look around, <br />High and low, low and high, <br />Then my heart beats faster and faster. <br /> <br />I realise Jesus Christ, <br />Is here in my heart, <br />Helping me all the time, <br />Through happiness and pain. <br /> <br />(7th May,2013)<br /><br />Ami White<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/everyone-makes-mistakes/
