Hawaii.
Even in December the sun allows for Summer greatness,
with its fresh breeze and gentle wind;
sand engulfs my feet with its merciful burn.
With the painted coral and its friendly sea turtles,
Hawaii stuns me, and Hawaii is kind.
She allows for people to come together,
allows people to admire its tropical utopia and its spectacular perception of senses.
But with every sunrise comes a sunset;
and from the air I wave farewell to my favorite place.
However inside, I promise you,
I'll visit you again-
Hawaii.

Sierra Staten

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/hawaii-4/
