Downcast and burdened with a thousand cares. <br />Staring at a complex world of conflict and despair. <br />Imagining the worst and gripped by fear. <br /> <br /> Forgetting who I am, <br />and what is really there. <br />Thinking I am this and that, <br />and becoming tired and scared. <br /> <br />The mind ensnares me with it’s thought. <br />It makes me small compared, <br />with the Truth that is your Love <br />and never is impaired. <br /> <br />The thought of You releases me, <br />and gives me space to see. <br />This mind cannot confound the Truth, <br />that He and I are free. <br /> <br />Who am I?
