I think I am lost <br />in a poem hunter jungle, <br />that’s full of a mass <br />of poems that grumble. <br />There’s a poem or two <br />like carnivorous bears, <br />but surely they must have <br />a home that’s a lair. <br /> <br />I stumble along <br />on a path that’s not smooth, <br />and deep in the jungle <br />its dark with despair. <br />There’s many a poem <br />that’s lurking in there! <br />I think I must tread <br />with the utmost of care. <br /> <br />I come to a clearing <br />that’s very endearing, <br />With poems like vines <br />which upwards I climb. <br />And reaching the top <br />its such a great view, <br />and a wonderful poem <br />that’s written by you! <br /> <br />And looking around <br />with the poems I’ve found, <br />there’s one thing for certain <br />this jungle abounds, <br />with the life and the sounds <br />that are made so impressive, <br />by you and all <br />those poets expressive.<br /><br />David Taylor<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/poem-hunter-jungle/
