I just realised my poems oft’ <br />Sweetness and light <br />So here is one for <br />Those keen on the night <br />With trickling black blood <br />That pours out of the sky <br />All the birds are on fire <br />As they fly up so high <br />And the trees are all <br />Angry and turning on you <br />Where will you run to? <br />The earths turning <br />But turns without you <br />Your bones go to jelly <br />Your heart it’s a flood <br />Of terror that’s getting <br />Right into your blood <br />The monster that’s wearing <br />Its skin inside out <br />From under your bed is <br />Now leaping about <br />Your stuck and your frozen <br />You can’t open the door <br />Your already dead <br />And that's all you've got <br />there just isn't no more.<br /><br />David Taylor<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/darkness-and-death/
