They would drive up and down the streets, <br />Believing the noise made by revving engines... <br />Was a greeted sound wished, <br />For those leaving there! <br />And they would dare themsleves with speed! <br /> <br />The other huffing mufflers waited. <br />As if this stretch of road, <br />Had been paved with gold. <br />Well it wasn't. <br />And those who lived there, <br />Began to lose their patience. <br />And shot all tires flat! <br />Just like that... <br />Shot them flat! <br /> <br />No one returned after that! <br />Fearing the people were crazed, <br />And would attack. <br />And their engines are heard in the distance... <br />Just above the sounds of laughing children, <br />Observed by birds chirping from rooftops!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
