The truth of the matter is... <br />No one is going to tell it! <br />A society that has been fantasized, <br />Has flourished on deceit and lies. <br />Dishonesty and pretension thrives. <br />It doesn't matter how truth <br />Is removed from a disguise. <br />It will not be recognized anyway. <br />And that is why the pain of it... <br />Has many upset. <br />And those brave enough to tell it, <br />Are demoralized and criticized! <br />A society once respected for its trust... <br />Has been thrusted into a nose dive! <br />And those responsible for its demise, <br />Do the best they can, <br />To hide this from eyes! <br />And those failed actions are remarkable! <br />As they rob Peter to pay Paul who owes Harry... <br />That loaned Mary who stoled from Agnes and Jennifer, <br />That promised Peter she would deliver her payment... <br />With interest! <br />And he has been ignored!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
