Why don't you see me hanging in the streets? <br />Or at the local clubs, <br />Milling through a crowd of people... <br />With a drink or two, <br />And having small talk with those I meet. <br /> <br />Why don't you see me socializing, <br />And sitting around? <br />Discussing who is still living. <br />And who has moved out of town? <br /> <br />And when you do see me... <br />I appear to have peace of mind, <br />With no complaints to share. <br />Or fresh gossip to spare to toss around. <br />Why is it that I seem to have something to do... <br />And less time to find to moan and whine? <br /> <br />I don't know! <br />I've heard I am crazy! <br />Lazy and unmotivated! <br />I hope that's what you've heard too. <br />I would hate to ruin my reputation. <br />It would be devastating for me, <br />To discover that wasn't true!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
