A game no differently played, <br />Than any other sporting event. <br />Hyped are likes and dislikes. <br />With money spent to declare which team, <br />Has the better defense... <br />With a quarterback who can throw a ball, <br />Or a pitcher who produces... <br />A pitch that strikes out a batter. <br />Or a runner who scores without getting hit. <br /> <br />It's all a game of politics! <br />With high fees to pay on overpriced tickets. <br />And on each side the speeches all sound great. <br />As those who advertise, salivate and wait... <br />To see which candidate appeases the taste, <br />Of those who are addicted and hooked on propaganda! <br />Spending billions of funds... <br />That could have housed, fed and clothed everyone. <br />Moving forward with less change heard to jingle... <br />All who will be taxed can believe.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
