I, breathe in deeply as the blade sinks in. <br />Scarlet blood drips during this pleasant sin. <br /> <br />I try hard not to do this each and, every night. <br />But how can I stop when this blood feels so right? <br /> <br />The cold metal blade agianst my pale skin. <br />Blood flows slowly, as it, goes right in. <br /> <br />They must never find my cuts, I do it 'cause this hate. <br />They won't ever know until it will be all to late. <br /> <br />My Head is screaming as I slam the door shut. <br />Now it is time to make very final cut. <br /> <br />You say I'm so selfish to end my life like this. <br />Since My knifes my best friend I get all pissed. <br /> <br />Now I have pushed all my pain away, I have no more fears. <br />Now I lie here silent finally, without tears.<br /><br />Bethany Bales<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/once-i-cut/
