The younger generation, <br />May reflect unacceptable behavior. <br />And with language that disrespects, <br />Those composed with proper etiquette. <br />Yet... <br />It is that younger generation, <br />Absent of discipline with expressed contempt... <br />For those who have chosen to distance themselves, <br />From the reality of their lives and lived environments. <br /> <br />And those who perceive reality, <br />From their isolated perspective and idealistic beliefs... <br />Is the reason why relentless youthful cries have died. <br />With repeatedly increasing pleas and screams for help, <br />Have quieted to cease to seek revenge. <br />As the younger generation take to urban streets, <br />To settle immediately what people ignoring them do not get. <br />And that is a truth that today's youth are unforgiving to express. <br />With crimes committed to address regardless of the senselessness. <br /> <br />A future invested in greed and selfishness, <br />Receives a return of a depositing of shallowness. <br />And so that's the way it goes as the Sun upon them sets.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
