Within 28 days, <br />They will squeeze in reasons... <br />To celebrate those who sacrificed, <br />Their lives in the doing to prove... <br />They were blessed with talents and gifts to pursue. <br /> <br />And even though we all have unique abilities, <br />To accomplish if we so choose if we pleased... <br />A doing in the shortest month of February, <br />Seems sensible enough... <br />For those awaiting for 28 days to do. <br /> <br />As if 337 days are saved to produce, <br />Other useless efforts to manifest... <br />With a hope someone else besides themselves, <br />Grants them an incentive to acknowledge them... <br />To then criticize those who get the attention given. <br /> <br />But soon Spring and Easter comes, <br />To assist them in forgetting... <br />What it takes to produce efforts, <br />With a caring less... <br />Who is left impressed to be addressed by anyone.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
