A voice is calling <br />For the day is coming near, <br />The dark in deep is falling <br />In the songbirds you'll hear. <br />Give the colours a sight <br />And all the beautiful things, <br />Here comes day darling light <br />In the morning it all sings. <br />Wake! A voice from its sleep <br />Every hour is a pleasure, <br />In your soul here to keep <br />This fine momentary treasure. <br />When the day falls again <br />To the hour of the dark, <br />These tunes were not in vain <br />Nor the moment you'd hark. <br />Wake!
