There are nights without a song <br />Only clouds of whimsy whim <br />That steer dark as they go along <br />Callowness in deep mood's hymn <br />Painting and fuming winter's sky <br />Corrugated in red cylinders ways <br />Through the holes like cats-eye <br />Gleaming light of the fading rays <br /> <br />Cravings for an additional sound <br />Of summer's appealing gone <br />With its window-dressing found <br />In mauve galaxies vivid neon <br />Dwell on tension in colors stale <br />Of tomorrow's that never comes <br />Searching on their questing trail <br />Are these cosmos old blossoms <br /> <br />Give me encouragement’s dream <br />To sing my song as it openly is <br />In the deep-sea space ways stream <br />Where blaze are to eyes like bliss<br /><br />Peter S.
