Although we were dead in sin, we’ve been blessed and raised in Him, <br />With a love that overwhelms, we’ve been blessed in heavenly realms, <br />Chosen by God before the earth, to be raised with Christ by New Birth, <br />Well before this earth’s creation, chosen in Christ to receive Salvation. <br /> <br />We were adopted into God’s Family, through Christ Jesus, for eternity, <br />According to God’s will and pleasure, to be The Lord’s eternal treasure. <br />Redeemed with the blood of Christ, out of the bondage of our sinful life, <br />And forgiven by God of all our sin, and by God’s Grace cleansed within. <br /> <br />We are recipients of God’s mystery, unveiled by Christ for you and me, <br />Hidden from all former generations, found in Christ, is God’s Salvation. <br />We receive an inheritance from God, that’s far above the earth we trod, <br />Predestined according to His plan, for all who receive The Son of Man. <br /> <br />We’re sealed with The Spirit when, believing the Truth we’re born again, <br />Reborn through God’s Spirit above, and sealed forever by Christ’s Love. <br />The Holy Spirit is God’s guarantee, of what He promised to you and me, <br />Our inheritance and full redemption, as we are His treasured possession. <br /> <br />God did all this so that we could be, God’s salt and light for others to see, <br />And as our lives glorify God above, others would desire to seek His Love. <br />You too can be saved by God’s Grace, if you would only seek God’s face, <br />Then through work prepared for you, in Christ you shall be a blessing too. <br /> <br />(Copyright ©09/2006)<br /><br />Bob Gotti<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/spiritual-blessings-in-christ/
