She could dance like the kite in the wind <br />He was struggling to prove himself to the world ever since <br />They met like characters of a lost fairy tale <br />Like she was the princess and he the prince <br />In this world they had there odds <br />Can’t blame anyone cuz there fates were flawed. <br /> <br />She prayed to god <br />He was an atheist some even called him fraud <br />They were opposite in every way <br />Except one thing in common that they never betrayed <br />In spring they met like birds from different space <br />Amazed by the way they were discovering things and there pace <br /> <br />Soon she realized she couldn’t think of no one else <br />He was bit skeptic but agreed instead <br />Jane would love him more each day <br />Joe had fear dancing in his head <br />He knew one day he’ll loose her and even told her <br />Her eyes rained and heart ached. <br /> <br />Finally the day had come when the daisies had died <br />Sky lost its color <br />Jane had lost her veins <br />Joe had lost his mind <br />But the happy world had won its game again <br />They had forgotten Joe and Jane <br />Like the thousand others some dead some insane <br /> <br />Joe and Jane will meet again <br />In another life and in another time <br />When they will not be humans <br />Cats instead…..<br /><br />KUNAL SETH<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/plain-jane-and-average-joe/
