Each flower has some nectar for the bees, <br />But served it is on 'who comes first basis', <br />This love for fellow insects does not cease. <br />On any day, the flower ne’er refuses. <br /> <br />What bond exists of friendship 'tween the two! <br />What sacrifice and labour is involved; <br />Each flower greets each bee, happy to woo; <br />What love to strangers has Nature evolved. <br /> <br />Yet, every bee must visit each flower; <br />And suck the nectar at the earliest; <br />For it is not the flower's only lover; <br />And every time, it is only its guest. <br /> <br /> So, seek you shall in time and in right place, <br /> But blame your laziness for your sad face.<br /><br />Dr John Celes<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sonnet-flowers-and-bees/
