I've been called 'a piece of work' <br />'a drama queen', with a smirk, <br />The things I've seen and the voices I've heard, <br />to others, would seem absurd. <br /> <br />I've, too said many a prayer, <br />So is it fair <br />for the misconception <br />and the cold reception? <br /> <br />Spoken thoughts were misconstrued <br />leading to a nasty feud, <br />By telling of one's beliefs <br />could lead to disbelief. <br /> <br />Some are blindfolded by fear <br />of a supernatural being nowhere near, <br />Maybe a simple illusion, <br />mirage, fantasy, a mere delusion. <br /> <br />Being judged by the unseen <br />could be misconceived.<br /><br />Cindy Thacher<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/misconceptions-4/
