It was a warm summer evening. <br />The sun glistened on the waters edge. <br />The sky was a warm orange and the first stars began to appear. <br />They sparkled like the twinkle in a loved ones eye, and the wind was gentle like it was relaxed. <br />The dolphins said there last good bye and jumped into the sun light. <br />As the stars twinkled and the sun began to fade. <br />The colour of the sky changed as if it were magic. <br />As I sat and watched the spectacular site, I thought of you. <br />No sooner as I did the stars lit up as if they knew. <br />It felt as if I was dreaming in some far away land. <br />I started my walk home, as the moon began to rise. <br />As I turned to look one last time I found you sitting there looking to.<br /><br />David de Haas<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-sun-set/
