MALE: There was a night where I felt alone. <br />Then I found you in a lantern lit street. <br />The stars and the moon were out, like in some fiery tale dream. <br />You looked so beautiful and divine, standing there in cold. <br /> <br />FEMALE: I could not believe you were looking at me. <br />With those beautiful blue eye’s, and that hansom little smile. <br /> <br />MALE: I came to say hello, you looked a bit cold. <br />I offered my jacket to keep you warm. <br /> <br />FEMALE: I laughed because I had mine. <br />But I took it anyway just to see you smile again. <br /> <br />MALE: we began to talk about what we did that night. <br />Talking the night away. <br /> <br />FEMALE: I never new I could like someone like you. <br />So nice and gentle. <br /> <br />MALE: we went out to have a drink of coffee. <br />Instead I asked you out. <br /> <br />FEMALE: I said yes. <br />And yet felt like I had known you for years. <br /> <br />MALE AND FEMALE: Yet after all these years, I have never forgotten. <br /> <br />MALE AND FEMALE: When I found you.<br /><br />David de Haas<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-found-you-2/
