In dreams, I see your shining light, <br />Your coloured lilac hue, <br />A silver cord above your crown, <br />Connected to the blue. <br /> <br />The palest shade of dusky pink, <br />Surrounds your gentle heart, <br />And emanates towards me, <br />I gladly send it back. <br /> <br />A kaleidoscope of colour, <br />Is there for me to see, <br />The red, the green, the orange, <br />The violet; just for me. <br /> <br />So many different colours, <br />All merging into one, <br />I send a thought of love to you, <br />I see the rainbow form. <br /> <br />I venture from my dream state, <br />My eyes now open wide, <br />My rainbow is before me, <br />It comes to bid goodbye.<br /><br />Linda Harnett<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/kaleidoscope/
