I met this woman on the plane. <br />We flew amongst the clouds in a driving rain. <br />She was beautiful and she was witty. <br />She just blushed when I told her she was very pretty. <br />We talked almost from the time we were seated until well into the flight. <br />It could not have been a better night! <br />It had been so long since I felt this alive. <br />At least a year, maybe even five. <br />I made sure not to get any slumber <br />Until I took down her name and number. <br />I just pray that it's not a matter of if, but when <br />That I will get the chance to see her again.<br /><br />Jeff Fleischer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-met-this-woman-on-the-plane/
