I went for a walk the other day <br />Spring days are so unpredictable <br />You never know what will happen <br />The weather’s like it is in the fall <br /> <br />And on this particular day <br />There were a few clouds in the sky <br />But the sun was also peekin’ out <br />Wasn’t rainin’ but I knew it might try <br /> <br />And then a darker cloud went by <br />And moisture floated down <br />There was sweetness in the air <br />As gentle rain dropped to the ground <br /> <br />Oh how I love the gentle rain <br />So refreshing I find it to be <br />Clouds form up in the vast sky <br />And they gather so creatively <br /> <br />It’s so helpful for the tiny plants <br />For they need a drink from time to time <br />Yes, I love a day with gentle rain <br />It’s the sweetest day I can find!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/gentle-rain-4/
