Each day is such a challenge <br />For we don’t know what we’ll see <br />As we rise up from our beds <br />We cannot act complacently <br /> <br />Sometimes I think that perhaps <br />Life is just a progressive test <br />We can only make the choices <br />That we think will be the best <br /> <br />Around that next curve we face <br />It could be the best we’ve had so far <br />Or it could be the worst of course <br />But we must look for a shining star <br /> <br />I think it’s like the sky above <br />There are mornings so clear and bright <br />And then a day or so later we wake to <br />Such a cold and dreary sight <br /> <br />But wouldn’t it be boring <br />If each day was just the same <br />I think we’d want to go back down <br />The path in which we came!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/each-day-s-a-challenge/
