(Dedicated to Denver Pyle who died Christmas day of 1997) <br /> <br />He starred in the Dukes of Hazzard and the Andy Griffith show. <br />He was born in Bethune, Colorado. <br />Christmas is truly the greatest day of the year. <br />But on Christmas of 1997 many people were brought to tears. <br /> <br />Denver Pyle died on Christmas and it was a tragedy. <br />First he was Briscoe Darling and later he was Uncle Jesse. <br />If a person said he wasn't talented, he or she lied. <br />We enjoyed his performance in Bonnie and Clyde. <br /> <br />He was nice and he was a little bold. <br />He died when he was seventy-seven years old. <br />People really hated it when he died. <br />On Christmas day we said good-bye.<br /><br />Randy Johnson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/good-bye-denver-pyle/
