Begging <br />Pleading for help <br />Driven to the very blink <br />Almost out of my mind <br />I swear that I am spiltting in two <br />Don't think that I can really handle my life anymore <br />Even thought taking of taking the coward's way out <br />Just going ahead and doing it <br />Kill myself and then maybe just maybe I will be free <br />Free at last from my lonely solitude <br />In a desperate place <br /> <br /> <br />Holding a razor blade to my wrist <br />A full bottle of pills half-way to my mouth <br />So close <br />Dangerously close <br />To ending this torment once and for all <br />Letting all my dreams go <br />Flying out the window of a 3 story building <br />I wonder <br />Would I be happy? <br />Would my death bring me new life? <br />From from slowly dying here <br />In a desperate place <br /> <br /> <br />Never before I swear have I felt this damm low <br />This damm unsure <br />Scared <br />Shaking <br />Trembling <br />Wishing and praying for a miracle <br />A miracle I fear is never gonna come my way <br />Unless I create one myself <br />The only way I know how <br />Sweet, sweet suicide <br />Could that be the ticket? <br />The ticket to freeing me from my horrid life spent <br />In a desperate place <br /> <br /> <br />All alone <br />Trapped by my own miserable misery <br />All I want is a way <br />Any way that I can find out <br />Out of this hell that my life has become <br />This nightmare neverending <br />Tearing my world and my heart apart at the seams <br />Just can't seem to gather the strength to go on <br />Facing an empty endless stretch of time <br />Watching the hours on the clock <br />Hating myself more and more with every second that passes <br />Here all by myself with no one else to care about me <br />In a desperate place<br /><br />Ramona Thompson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/in-a-desperate-place/
