My love is tenuous, it hangs by a thread.
I cannot seem to commit, my shyness inhibits.
Where oh where shall I be, when the thunder
peals through my soul; Can I grab the brass
ring? Come down to earth for me, looking up
makes me Queasy. The ball of yarn is loosly
wound; Won't you be around? I am all agog;
Why don't we decide to commit; Never too old.
The bells can ring; For you and I. How are
we to be as one, and dance the dance of true
love.

Richard Joseph

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/love-me-gentle/
