I woke up from my slumber and I found I was alone <br />I went to sleep hoping when I open my eyes you would be there. <br />My heart did a sommersault for the uptenth time <br />I do not know how much longer I could go on. <br />I walk around for days not knowing what is wrong with me <br />I cry at any moment's notice <br />And I have this lump on my throat called despair <br /> <br />I want to scream at the top of my voice <br />I want you to feel this pain in my heart. <br />I know it is neither our fault, why we have to meet <br />Separately we are tragic. <br />But, together we are magic, lightning bolts so sweet <br />We are like forces of nature not meant to be tamed <br />And to be reckoned with. <br /> <br />4/18/09 <br />8: 24 pm<br /><br />June FeirCruz<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/forces-of-nature-2/
