A girl tired of being a friend without a friend <br />started to cut and started to shut up <br />she stopped smiling <br />and she stopped laughing <br /> <br />only to stare at her feet <br />never trying to speak <br />She hid in her room <br />the one parents called a tomb <br /> <br />Then came the letters of hate telling her to die <br />and all her friends would not listen as she began to cry <br />her parents then noticed cuts upon her wrists. <br />They told that's why everyone wanted her gone <br />they told her she could never form a bond. <br /> <br />Now here she is today <br />a girl on the run <br />roll up her sleeves <br />and you will see <br />just what she’s running from <br /> <br />A girl once with dreams now shattered and scared <br />If you would have asked 10 years before <br />she would have told you a long life to come <br />but now she stands before you <br />wishing she was dead <br />and not all alone in her head<br /><br />Dead Inside<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/alone-inside/
