I took some of my prayer words back <br />I felt guilty for putting my interest at stake <br />Is that the correct logic or prayers are meant? <br />Will God listen to such request and relent? <br /> <br />I, for one, reserve the opinion <br />I may not get support from any of the companion <br />It may not find even favor <br />As prayers are restricted only to save honor <br /> <br />Why do I ask to fill my heart with mercy and kindness? <br />When I am fully blessed with happiness on y face <br />I still pretend to be ignorant before him and pray <br />As if He knows nothing and directs you a new way <br /> <br />Why do we pray for our happiness and others loss? <br />Is it not the insult to sacred place and holy cross? <br />I go to him with malicious intent <br />Instead ask for things and never regret or lament <br /> <br />Even one look in His eyes may send waves of sympathy <br />You may receive signals directly fro the almighty <br />You just read in the eyes and try to understand sufferings undergone <br />You will forget your own pain and stand like stone <br /> <br />Prayers are meant to purity soul and supplement it with more <br />Try to find out if something can still be explored <br />If you can’t feed the hungry and show little kindness <br />Don’t bother much but that thought itself will give happiness on face <br /> <br />Can we deny that he is only one to think of whole universe? <br />Who can go against His wish and negate verses? <br />It is all for us to follow and put into practice <br />Let it become daily routine till we face the demise <br /> <br />I just look at Him and seek no words <br />Ask him to allow me to go forward <br />I shall not regret for any outcome <br />His blessings will always be appreciated and welcomed<br /><br />hasmukh amathalal<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/prayer-words/
