I turned around to find, <br />my little heart is breaking and bleeding. <br />Voices from the back of my mind, <br />and memories all around me are speeding. <br />So are the beats of my heart, <br />and the tears are running down my face. <br />Yes, he left me torn apart, <br />yes, he ran away from my place.. <br />He told me that he's in love, <br />and he gazed away into my eyes. <br />I'm the one for him, i fly above, <br />running in my veins but yet he lies. <br />I saw all the signs in the world, <br />i knew he lies and he is used to cheat. <br />I cared for nothing but i'm his girl, <br />and he is the one making my heart to beat. <br />But my heart used to beat in fear, <br />what will happen with him tomorrow? <br />Scared all night lonesome with a tear, <br />and i sighed screaming out my sorrow. <br />And all went in vain, <br />just when i meet his smiles and words. <br />Why do i feel pain? <br />life is more than beautiful, nothing hurts. <br />I'm the one he can't live without, <br />i'm the one he loves till the end of his days. <br />I'm the one for him, why would i doubt? <br />that's the way things will go always... <br />And before the third week ended, <br />he let go of me and destroyed my dreams. <br />Yes, he lied to me and pretended, <br />our love is a fake and filled with seams. <br />I loved him i confess, <br />but he really hurt me in cold blood. <br />I loved him to death, <br />and he runs still in my blood.. <br />Never thought that he would leave me weak, <br />unable to breathe and i'm feeling all alone. <br />I loved him more each day of every week, <br />three weeks i loved him madly but on my own. <br />I can't believe that he left the queen, <br />the queen of his land and his only love. <br />I can't believe i was never his dream, <br />and from where iflied i fell from above...<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/on-the-third-week/
